Lahore (Special Correspondent) On the appeal of All Government Employees Grand Alliance Punjab, including Lahore, government employees took out peaceful protest rallies and demonstrations at the district level against the government’s indifference and cruel actions. In view of the rising inflation, instead of increasing the salaries and pensions of the employees, the government is now looking to ax the pensions and gratuities after spending the night on levy payments. The protest will continue until the levy encashment reduction and usurpation notification of the family pension is withdrawn. The terms of reduction in pension and gratuity are not withdrawn and salaries and pensions are not increased by at least 50% in line with the new wave of inflation. The government should open its eyes and will not jam the wheels of the government in the future.

A special traffic plan has been prepared by the traffic police for pilgrims to reach Bilarkavat Darbar Sharif while more than 3000 officials will be on duty, special prayers will be offered on the night of September 7.
