LAHORE: Senior Vice President of Muslim League-N Maryam Nawaz has said that what will happen to Imran Khan will be a tragedy, life will be spent crying now.

 

Maryam Nawaz, while addressing a public meeting on her arrival in Abu Dhabi and Lahore via London, after greeting the participants on behalf of herself and party leader Nawaz Sharif, announced that her and my beloved leader will return soon. He said that even today Nawaz Sharif is the greatest leader of the country despite being expelled three times, who is returning to your love soon.

Maryam Nawaz said that July 28 was a great tragedy for Pakistan. You gave government to Nawaz Sharif 3 times, they expelled Nawaz Sharif 3 times. These people took out Nawaz Sharif time and again, but it was Nawaz Sharif who took Pakistan out of trouble 3 times. Addressing the political opponents, she said that you have become the target of Allah’s reckoning. We will bring Pakistan’s economy out of trouble, God willing. Developing Pakistan will come back soon.

The chief organizer of Muslim League-N added that Nawaz Sharif realizes that there is inflation in the country, we will restore the economy soon. She said that I am not happy about anyone’s punishment. Regarding the news about senior leaders in the media, Maryam Nawaz said that she would not like to talk about Miftah Ismail, but Shahid Khaqan Abbasi’s party and affiliation with Nawaz Sharif. But no one can raise a question.

She said that the party is like a mountain, which will not fall more than a stone. Shahid Khaqan said that I cannot leave the party, I will go home if I go. Maryam Nawaz said that differences continue in the party. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has been with Kanwaz Sharif and the party for 3 decades.

I have brought a schedule with complete planning from Monday to Ramadan. We will give a new direction to the party.

Addressing the participants of the gathering, Maryam Nawaz further said that Pakistan and Nawaz Sharif went down together, this time they will come back with more power than before. Sacrifices have to be made for the party. Rest until the destiny of the nation is changed. Will not sit. The characters conspiring against Nawaz Sharif are all coming forward.

He said that Nawaz Sharif, Shahbaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz did not take revenge from you. 8 months will be calculated later, 4 years must be calculated first. We are not afraid of the election, the Muslim League-N will win the election with a huge majority.

Tehreek-e-Insaf (Elections)

Lahore: During the hearing of the petition filed by Tehreek-e-Insaf against not giving the date of general elections in Punjab, the Lahore High Court has said that the elections should be held within 90 days of the dissolution of the assembly.

The court remarked during the hearing that an important legal point has been raised in the petition of Tehreek-e-Insaaf. The court accepted PTI’s request for hearing and issued a notice to the Governor of Punjab through the Secretary and the Election Commission seeking their response.

The hearing on PTI’s application was conducted by Justice Jawad Hassan of Lahore High Court, in which Barrister Ali Zafar argued on behalf of Tehreek-e-Insaf. During the hearing, PTI General Secretary Asad Umar and former Speaker Sabatin Khan, Mian Aslam Iqbal, Shibli Faraz, Ali Sahi were also present in the court room.

The court should direct the governor to announce the date of the election. Justice Jawad Hassan remarked that I agree with you that elections should be held in 90 days. The PTI lawyer said that the Election Commission also wrote a letter to the Governor of Punjab regarding the date of the election, but the Governor has not yet given any reply. The Election Commission also stands with us on this position. Justice Jawad Hasan said that elections are to be held in 90 days. We will find out who will do it. We will fight for democracy.

During the hearing, the court expressed its displeasure at the lack of preparation on behalf of the Punjab Governor’s lawyer. The court called the federal government’s lawyer to the rostrum and inquired whether Tehreek-e-Insaf wrote a letter to you, the Election Commission wrote a letter to you. What is your position?
