Mayo Hospital: Approvals and Visits Update

Approval of the formation of service rules, human resource committees for the employees of the authority, and visits to the emergency block in Mayo Hospital.

LAHORE (Express Reporter) Upgradation work of the Emergensi Block has started in Mayo Hospital, Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi visited the Emergensi Block and inspected the upgradation work. State-of-the-art Amer Gensi block of beds will be made, the Emer Gensi block will be temporarily shifted to the TB ward during construction and rehabilitation, and the Lift of the Emer Gensi block will also be made functional under the upgradation program. Mohsin Naqvi gave the task to the Department of Construction and Communication to complete the upgrade of the Amer Gensi Block soon. The caretaker Chief Minister made a detailed inspection of the lab and the first floor, second floor, third floor, and fourth floor of the Emergency Block. Mohsin Naqvi gave necessary instructions for the provision of high-quality and modern facilities in the upgradation of Amer Gensi Block and said that the new Emer Gensi Block should be equipped with modern medical facilities. Mohsin Naqvi directed that the wiring of the Emergency block should be underground and said that doctor’s rooms should be well furnished. Mohsin Naqvi directed the sustainable solution of seamed walls in the Amer Jinsi block. Mohsin Naqvi also visited the TB ward and reviewed the arrangements regarding the shifting of the emergency room. Mohsin Naqvi ordered the dirty sheets on the beds to be changed immediately. The caretaker Chief Minister also visited the police post, under-construction reading rooms, and cafeterias and reviewed the construction activities. The caretaker chief minister directed to installation of high-speed internet in the reading room. Mohsin Naqvi expressed satisfaction with the high quality of the construction works of the reading room and cafeterias. Mohsin Naqvi said that quality food items should be available at reasonable prices in the cafeterias according to the rules of hygiene. I will review it myself. Apart from this, under the chairmanship of Mohsin Naqvi, a meeting of the Punjab Agriculture Food and Drug Authority was held in the Chief Minister’s Office, in which Mohsin Naqvi ordered to start the recruitment process for the Punjab Agriculture, Food and Drug Authority and to equip the building with complete machinery and equipment. Attock (Correspondent) Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman was met separately by his lawyers Salman Safdar and Sher Afzal Marwat in the Deputy Superintendent’s jail room.
