School teachers were killed in the Kurram district

Initially, the group of armed individuals directed their attack toward the vehicle carrying a School teacher, resulting in the teacher’s death. Afterward, they proceeded to the staff room of the school where they martyred 17 other teachers. The teacher organizations have expressed their disapproval through protests, and as a result of the attack, the matriculation exams have been postponed.

In addition, two terrorists were injured during the incident. All those present paid their respects to the brave martyrs.

 

In two separate incidents of firing by unknown armed persons, 8 school teachers were killed in the Kurram district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, causing widespread outrage and protests. The first incident involved a moving vehicle on Shlozan Road in Upper Kurram, where a school teacher was killed. In the second incident, armed men entered Teri Mangal High School and killed 7 school teachers in the staff room. The violence prompted a curfew in the hospital, and all roads across the district were closed due to security concerns. The matric examinations, which were scheduled to take place on April 28, have been postponed indefinitely.

Various teachers’ organizations started protesting against the killing of teachers, burning tires, and blocking the road in front of the press club. The teachers demanded a full investigation of the incident, the arrest of the accused, and the suspension of all educational activities as a form of protest. President Arif Alvi has condemned the killings and expressed his condolences to the affected families. He also called the attack on teachers by the enemies of knowledge “condemnable” and hoped that the accused would be punished soon according to the law.

In a separate incident in North Waziristan, six soldiers of the Pakistan Army were martyred, and three terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire between security forces and terrorists in the Deer Dooni area.  The soldiers hailed from various districts, and their families were left grieving. The armed forces of Pakistan have been praised for their bravery and dedication in the fight against terrorism.

Politicians and public figures across the country have strongly condemned the incidents and expressed their condolences to the families of the victims. The accused involved in the killings have been called to justice, and efforts are being made to ensure the safety and security of all citizens in the affected areas.
